Roman reaches, or at least expresses the ultimate truth at the end: we're bullshit, i.e. we're not serious people. But, I think the second revelation is just as important: the company is bullshit (at least ATN is). They sell fake news, they don't provide value to society, they trade in lies and blackmail. The winners in the boardroom are also playing a bullshit game. I think that's the deeper truth about stories like this and King Lear, that the struggle for power for power's sake is ultimately meaningless.
