I’m not sure if I missed something, but one dangling thread from the finale is the state of the PGM deal. The kids buy PGM for $10 billion in Season 4 Episode 1. Then there’s some talk throughout the season about how they’re going to integrate PGM into the company, or spin it off, or merge it with a spun-off ATN. They whole situation feels very in flight.
In the finale, Shiv offers the Hundreds brand to her brothers as a meager bargaining chip, but they dismiss it. The Hundreds was their start up pitch they were cooking up in LA before they decided to go in together on Pierce.
So now that the GoJo deal is final and Matsson owns RoyStar… what happens to pierce? The kids were buying it collectively, but now they’re emotionally separated by the final vote. Is the purchase deal dead? Can they just back out so easily? Apologies if I missed something in the episode that clears this up.
