Is it possible Gerri and Logan hooked up a long time ago and Shiv witnessed evidence of it and has been passive aggressive/spiteful of the secret ever since? This explains the tense conversations between Shiv and Gerri on Shiv’s wedding day (“No wedding advice from my fairy god mother?”) and another about navigating sexual harassment allegations (“Well you could always just file an HR complaint….” — insinuating that Shiv knows for a fact Gerri would never do that) and also in this past ep Shiv asking Frank/Karl how bad her dad really was — seemingly in regards to women and that kind of behavior. And then you have Logan being adamant about firing Gerri right as he becomes adamant about bringing Roman in the fold. Again, it doesn’t confirm a history between Gerri/Logan but it would make sense to me if Shiv witnessed something between them as a kid and has kept it under wraps since, adding to her disillusionment with her own relationship and her bitterness towards both her father and her godmother. There seems to be a toxic elephant in the room between Gerri and Shiv that runs deeper than we have been shown.
