This is my third year subbing and my second year focused on just high school, and I came in for the first day of a four-day assignment and… there’s no lesson plans at all. I let the school secretary know immediately and she reached out to the department but there is nothing for today. Three classes of seniors and they have nothing to work on!

There’s four stacks of folders on the desk but most of them seem to just have assignments to be graded in them. Students checked Teams but there’s nothing in there (apparently this teacher doesn’t use Teams much).

It’s odd especially since this wasn’t a last-minute pickup, I took this job last week.

Going to be an interesting day…
