So I had a para reach out to me yesterday by text after school hours to see if I could sub for them today from lunch to end of day, I said sure and that was that. Now with 2 hours to go until start time the para/school has not added the job to Frontline. I’m waffling on calling the school to see if they actually need me or not (no big deal if they don’t I hadn’t planned on working today) as this is a school I have down as a request for a student teaching position next semester but on the other hand they should have taken care of this already and it’s not on me to chase them. I literally live across the street so I can leave at a moments notice but I have mixed feelings about this- and declined another sure job this morning from my preferred school while waiting for the Frontline add. I feel like I’m doing what I should but should have taken more steps to see if I’m needed or let this lady figure out just asking me to sub isn’t enough?
