Question(s) on how subscribers receive voiceover vs. podcast
Post Body

I recently started my Substack, Reluctant Slut, and added a voiceover to the first two posts via the direct recording tool. I then realized this doesn't automatically create a podcast episode - that's separate. I want to have a podcast that is essentially just my article voiceover, because I read that Substack podcasts can be accessed by Spotify, iTunes, etc. So now I'm trying to figure out what will happen if I add the podcast, specifically:

  1. Can I create podcast episodes for my first two posts and have them NOT go out AGAIN to subscribers? (I don't want them to be annoyed bc it is repeated content.)
  2. I used the direct "record" tool on an article for voiceover, can I download this audio now (if so, I can't figure out how) to use in creating the podcast episode?
  3. Assuming I figure out the above questions, should I continue to place audio on both the post itself AND also make a podcast with the same audio? Will this gain me more subscribers or confuse my subscribers?

Thanks so much for your help!
