r/CompetitiveTFT implodes after a user posts about his ban from an open tourney, getting heated arguments from both sides.
Post Body

User daffid makes a post detailing his experience and subsequent ban from a Team Liquid open qualifier for the Riot Game: Teamfight Tactics. He initially finished 8th which would have allowed him to compete for worlds but was disqualified and banned for voicing his decisions over discord as he played. Regardless of the right side of this, the post sparked a heated discussion about the rules and the difference between what he did, and twitch streamers getting help from their chat. The argument from this has sprouted new posts, further deepening the divide on the sub.

Twitch chat is fine?

Evidence of help in the previous tourney

The general argument is that rules should be enforced equally but some people don't believe it's the same thing at all. New arguments and evidence have cropped up of high-level streamers saying he didn't deserve the spot because he was only diamond 3, no one has been named regarding that though. There are a few rants and quite a few extra juicy comment threads.

It seems this argument is not over and will upset the competitive/twitch community for a while.
