I’ve been on subs for a year and I’m done. I tried to get the shot a few months back but I think my dr office botched the prior authorization. I have like a case manager that the insurance provides who said she might be able to help me explain what to say to my dr to get the prior authorization to go through but one way or another I’m going to get this. I’m worried cause I see people say taper first then others say they were just fine from a high dose like myself.

I want to get on the shot sooner then later but if I should taper first I want to start nowish so by the time my dr office gets it’s shit straight I’ll be closer to a better dose but if 16 mg is fine then cool. Also if I’m on a high dose would I more likely need bridging doses the first month or is that more specific to the person then to the dose please any help would be amazing I am sooooooooooooo ready to be done. I’ve been haunted by stopping since I started I want this fear gone! So I can get off my gabapentin next!
