So I was using kratom quite heavily (and occasionally, fentanyl, but very rarely) and got into the 7ohm extracts, my dumbass decided to get on subs (I genuinely should have just cold turkeyed it, but it’s done now) while in detox and I’ve been on them for about 15 days now, but I haven’t even really stabilized on the subs yet because I wake up in withdrawals and still experience hot/cold flashes throughout the day and I mentally cannot handle withdrawals.

I am a quick metabolizer of bupe and I’m currently on 10mg per day, even then, I’m still waking up in mild withdrawals. I’ve been through A LOT this year, spent like 8 months from last fall until spring, going in and out of rehabs, in spring I did a sub “taper” (the tapers in rehab are a joke, I don’t understand why the fuck they think 2mg is a good stopping point, when bupe is INCREDIBLY POTENT, 2mg is the HIGHEST dose in Europe, yet in America it’s considered a “low” dose… Fucking idiot doctors don’t even know what hell they are doing) and I didn’t sleep for 7 DAYS, it felt like I was in a never ending nightmare and I never want to experience that again.

From what I’ve gathered, it seems that people who are not on subs for a long time, low doses, etc do not get any withdrawals from it. I’ve met many people who have told me they did a “one and done” without any withdrawals, I’m hoping to do this. I am very sensitive to the headaches from suboxone however, and I’m scared of getting the injection and having an adverse reaction. As I stated, I’m sensitive to bupe, even as I write this now, I just took my 3rd dose of the day (4mg) and I’m getting that body warmth that we all love, for some reason, I seem to get a LOT of euphoria from bupe.

Would a 100mg one and done be better for someone in my position? Or would a 300mg shot be better? My reasoning is that if I’m still getting euphoric from subs, maybe 300mg would be overkill, but my concern is that 100mg might be too fast of a “taper” (I say taper because that’s basically what sublocade is doing, if one is just doing a single shot and that’s it) and I’ll still get withdrawals. Also, I’ve heard people say that sublocade causes random waves of euphoria, due to the deposit releasing bupe in random intervals.

I’m just scared and I want to start a new routine for my life when I get out of here, I truly believe in kratom and don’t see it as an issue, as I’ve used it for almost 10 years and it has MOSTLY kept me away from worse opiates, but I want to start a new routine and not fall back into addiction, especially since I’m going to be moving somewhere new (for many reasons, I don’t need lectures of not moving in early recovery, I fucked around too much during my addiction, if you get what I mean lol).

I just need advice and experiences with doing “one and done” shots, I’d like to hear experiences from those of you who have done solo 100mg shots and 300mg shots, but especially 100mg shots. Remember, I do not have a crazy tolerance, based on the fact that I’m still experiencing euphoria from subs..
