So, I wanted to share this with anyone who it might help now or in the future. I know some of the people here are on Medicaid and that covers the cost for you but most of those with private insurances it does not cover the entire cost. My personal out of pocket cost was to be around $450 after insurance as the injections are just over $1,800 each, does not matter if it is the 100mg or 300mg. Yes it is kind of BS but that is another thing to get into. Anyways, the company has a program that will help with your out-of-pocket cost that your insurance does not cover. I believe you can be approved for the entire cost for the first two injections and then up to $800 for every subsequent injection but it must be renewed every year. I believe the "up to" is depending on how much you need, not they will only approve part of it.
To do it you click on this Co-Pay Assistance link and it will take you to the website. You simply put in your name and answer a few questions about your age, insurance coverage and such and then it will provide you with what looks like a prescription coverage card. Save that on your phone either by screenshot or downloading it. Then you just need to provide that to the speciality pharmacy when they call you, or give it to your doctor's office if you do not talk to the pharmacy, but I think you have to if you have any costs you have to pay, and then it should go through and watch that balance go to ZERO.
I might be able to answer a few questions if needed and can possibly help if you cannot figure it out.
I wish you all the best on your recovery journey!
