Post Body

Man I’ve been researching for hours but I still can’t really make up my mind.

If the only think you want is the best quality prints with speed up to 11”x17” and printing photos only on paper, are dye-subs worth it, or should I just go for the inkjet canon pro-300?

Let’s say no max budget, do you have recs for the best sub printer for photo quality?

I know 4 ink sub printers can have issues with dithering and black spots with images with a lot of white.

So I was thinking of converting the Epson ET15000, XP15000, or the ET8500 to dye sub.

But I couldn’t find threads about if 6 ink subs have better photo print quality over 4 inks?

Primary draw to dye-subs is going to be speed of printing.
