Help with smell
Post Body

2017 outback, recently started smelling. I'm 99% sure it's coming from inside the ducts, anyone have this issue? What can I check? Where is the hvac air intake so I can look for a dead mouse or something? Any help would be great before I pay $400 to get the ducts cleaned out. I've cleaned the carpets and ran an ozone machine twice. Currently just sprayed air intake with vent cleaner and I'm also now on air recirc running the ozone machine to get that thru the ducting. EDIT: I've checked engine compartment, blower motor, sprayed duct cleaner in intake and ducts and blower motor, pulled passenger seat (smell seems to come from those ducts) and vacuumed ducts out and sprayed inside those as wel. I've blown an air comressor up through the drain tube...now to see if the smell comes back...To be continued
