Hit and run on Christmas: repair advice?
Post Body

Hi all,

I was side-swept in a parking lot on Christmas Eve in a hit and run episode. The guy pretty much annihilated my passenger side’s lower plastic molding (whatever this part is called).

You can see that it’s dented (looks a lot worse in real life- pics aren’t really doing it justice), and obviously it’s gouged. Thankfully, the doors seem to open/ close just fine. Mostly just hideous cosmetic damage.

The molding now is falling off since these pics were taken. I keep smacking it back on, but it’s just a temporary fix.

Is anyone able to link me to the replacement parts for this? And/ or, can you give me advice about how much it’ll cost to just get my dealership to fix this when I have my six month maintenance check in a week?

Thanks! And PS- i know if the car is working fine, it technically doesn’t need replaced. But it’s bothering the hell out of me and the car is only 6 months old, so ideally i’d like to fix it…
