I'm over the moon!! We got two discreet day collars off of etsy and one of them arrived today. The other should be arriving in a few days. This one is a soft velvety cord choker with an o ring and a teardrop of labradorite hanging from it, since labradorite is supposed to protect you from the negativity of the world as well as from within, and encourage the growth and strength of inner worth. Protection from my anxieties when they rear their heads. The other one is much more obviously a day collar, I think, but still discreet. It's a metal necklace with a dangling chain in the front that has a gemstone in it!

This is my first ever collar! We aren't counting it as a formal collaring but it is still important and symbolic for us. Since we're long distance, to me, it's a tangible expression of our relationship and roles when I'm too far away to feel them more easily. It reminds me of how much he cares and takes care of me. It makes me feel secure. I'm so happy with it right now, and I can't wait til I get the other one too!
