After already having earned a bachelors in business and having worked for a couple years, I applied for an ABSN program and was recently accepted beginning January. I’ve thought about the various kinds of specialties I could go into after graduating and none interested me as much as ICU nursing did. Of course, nothing is set in stone and I might completely hate it come clinicals or upon entering the workforce.
If you’ve worked in an ICU setting or are very passionate about the field, I’m particularly interested in hearing about your reasons towards ICU nursing. Why did you choose that specialty?
Other specialties, feel free to comment your field and why you chose it. I’d love to see what makes y’all so motivated towards those areas.
Thank you so much!
