I’m thinking about going back to school for nursing

Post Body

Hey everyone, I thought I’d post here as everyone here is dedicated to nursing and has some understanding of what all is required. For context, I live in Illinois. I currently have my bachelors in education and teach high school biology and anatomy. I love kids, but after this first year of teaching I am so burnt out and struggling. My family suggested I consider going back to school for something I would enjoy more. The first thing that came to mind was nursing. I know it’s not an easy profession, but there’s always something happening and there are a lot of opportunities. I am a single mom and I would have to still work while going to school. I guess I just want some advice and opinions on nursing as a career change and how going back to school could change things in my life. Thank you!
