Possibility of clawback on forgiven loans
Post Body

My Parents Plus loan was forgiven in August of 2023. I was in the first round of IDR forgiveness. I had been paying on these loans since 2000. It was the best day of my life as I had been burdened with the loans and they would never show any significant decrease. I was just watching CNN and they were reporting on Musk and the other guy, Vivek Ramaswamy, talking to the Speaker of the House about clawing back loans made to companies by the Biden administration. I know that is not student loans but how does everyone feel about the possibility of this happening to student loans that were forgiven. I am concerned due to the make up of the Congress and President Trump. Thanks for your insight on this matter.

Comments

I don’t see it effecting loans where forgiveness was pushed thru.
