I’m in university now, I will graduate with about 30k debt. But I was seriously considering flight school, which would put me at about 150k debt at 15% apr. this is gonna cost me like 2500 a month.

The flight school does let you flight instruct for 3-5 years or so before you maybe possibility get hired at an airline. The pay will be about 3k a month. It is in Nashville also so rent will cost me at least $1,500 a month. Maybe I’m wrong with the numbers but this is what I came up with. I do know I will only be making about 3k though for at least probably 5 years or so unless I get lucky.

Edit: I know no one is supposed to recommend defaulting on loans but 7 years of bad credit might be better than paying 2,500 a month for 20 years haha
