I’m in a bad spot my back in 2017 my father guilt tricked young teenage me to. Co sign on my sisters student loan with discover promised he’ll handle all the payments , fast forward to today I had a hard credit check for a car loan and I find out he hasn’t made payments since 2020 it’s now in charge off and hit my credit score they put the email address phone numbers and emails in there names and gave me no access to the portal so only way I would of known was when it hit my credit . I’m going to call discover tomorrow to see what we can do to get this straightened out what should I be expecting. I need to get this straightened out so I can get a car loan and get removed as the co signer
