I have been battling Mohela for about a year and a half to get my Covid Refund. I called initially in October of 2022 to start the process. I was trying to get refunds for payments made to FedLoan. I thought everything would be easy peasy taken care of. After several months of checking up on it with phonecalls, I called this past August and they said I needed to give them specific dates that I made payments during the Covid forbearance. I called last September to check up and they said the request was processed August 25th. I figured ok wait 90 business days to get a check. I called in November just to make sure the ball was still rolling and the woman said if I haven't gotten my money by beginning of January, call back. I have been using calculators like crazy to make sure I'm not wrong, and I should be past the 90 business day mark. I called just now and the woman had me on hold talking to her supervisor. Evidently now my ticket is just being escalated, and they said it hasn't technically been processed yet. She said it still needs to be processed then the Treasury still has to cut the check. I have a feeling I could be waiting another year for this freaking refund!!
