5x5 causing lower back pain. Need recommendations for a new plan.

Hey everyone, I’ve been running the StrongLifts Madcow 5x5 since the beginning of the year. I switched to from the standard 5x5 (was running that for about a year) after experiencing some lower back pain at the end of last year.

Now that the weight is increasing, I’m experiencing lower back pain again. I’m seeing a chiropractor and stretching after each workout, but the problem still persists.

Should I be running a different program to still meet my goals? I’ve read that a hypertrophy plan might make sense. Are there any recommendations? My goal is continue to pack on strength and size. It would great if it was max 3x per week so that I can balance with my other fitness hobbies (running, swimming, yoga, and climbing).

For context: I’m 5’11”, 195 lbs. My 1RM for each lift is 175 (bench), 285 (deadlift), 205 (squat).
