Dizzy inbetween sets - anyone else?

Hi all,

So, I started 5x5 a month or so ago, and I've been on a bit of a personal fitness journey for the last four years. I'm 27 now, and up until the age of 23, I was a very unhealthy, 20 a day smoker, with a very poor diet. I don't look overweight, but I'm definitely skinny fat and could be healthier when it comes to my fitness. I'm also asthmatic, and I do have a deviated septum which effects how easily I can breathe out of my nose. For reference, I weight about 74/75kg.

So, since I started 5x5, I've been concious of the fact that in between sets I often feel a bit dizzy for 5 - 30 seconds. It's not a comfortable feeling, and at times it feels like I could hypothetically pass out, but I never do. I am trying to breathe properly, and have asked advice from others to try and make sure I'm breathing properly.

I always make sure I have at least a litre of water before I head to the gym, and I always try to eat a piece of fruit and have breakfast 2 hours before I go (e.g. bowl of corn flakes and a banana)

I'm not lifting massively heavy weights:

Bench Press - 42.5 kg
Overhead Press - 30kg
Bent Over Row - 30kg
Squat - 37.5kg
Deadlift - 40kg

Any advice?
