Itās been talked about and decided. We have been enforcing that stuff less lately anyways, but just wanted to make it official.
I wanted to write this post to also get more feedback on what the community would like from this sub.
One of the main reasons we stopped allowing aspiring dancers for a while was that people were getting especially testy, especially when those types of posts were starting to dominate not only this sub, but other stripper related communities for a while.
That was why somebody else created a subreddit specifically for aspiring and baby strippers, and I was happy to refer others out over there. But after letting a few posts slide on this sub, and seeing helpful answers, I think the opinions there seem to have changed and itās safe to ease on that.
Question #1: In anyoneās opinion, should there be some kind of rule or posting guideline on what aspiring dancers write?
For example, should certain questions such as āhow do I auditionā or ādo I look good enough to danceā be restricted, or should we allow all of it?
Iām all in favor of there being no restrictions on that, but if we do that, then I will want people to refrain from being snarky when those types of posts inevitably appear, no matter how silly or basic the questions appear.
Question #2: This sub in general is always going to be a mixed gender place. However, should we start posting weekly threads that are dancer-only?
This was a recent idea one of our male mods actually suggested. That way, dancers on here can pick and choose when male input to their industry specific questions would be welcome. Good idea? Bad idea?
Question #3: In general, is there anything you feel like we can do that would improve this sub? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Even if youāre just a lurker but you have been reading enough stuff to have an opinion, your input is welcome as well.
Iāve personally been very happy with the contributions on here, and I wanted to thank everyone for making it what it has been so far.
