I've been working on getting my knees closer to the ground every day for over a month but I don't make any progress. I'm doing the frog pose too and it's a bit discouraging seeing videos of people doing the butterfly pose explaining how "you might be here..." (having their knees exaggeratedly high up) "...and then you slowly lower them" and they do it within a few breaths :/
I wouldn't say I'm terribly unfit, I'm pretty skinny too but I feel very inflexible and every little progress I make in one day seems to vanish the very next
