How do I go about stretching a second lobe?

Hi! So, I have my lobes pierced. Just one hole each, and both are at a 6g right now (one will take a 4g but I think I should wait until both are ready). I keep on seeing these posts with people that have awesome cheese-hole ears, two and three stretched lobe piercings, etc. I really am interested in stretching a second lobe piercing! Should I have gotten it earlier in my journey, or is it okay to get it now, let it heal, and go from there?
