hello all! i’ve had my lobes at an 8g for about a year now and i’m still finding it really difficult to stretch! i wear single flare glass plugs 24/7 pretty much and have been really set on only dead stretching. after many failed attempts at sizing up over the last year i finally gave in today and went to my local piercer to have her stretch my ears for me, she was also shocked at how much difficulty i’ve been having. the stretch was moderately painful but nothing that was too terrible (i know stretching shouldn’t hurt at all but i lost my patience this time), she told me i just have good skin elasticity and should focus on wearing heavier jewelry in the future if i want to keep stretching. has anyone else had this much trouble at these small sizes?

kinda of similar but i’ve also had my septum at an 8g for a year and a half and it will not budge when it comes to stretching up to a 6g, i plan on ordering some 7g jewelry but seriously does anyone else have this much trouble stretching anything?
