Making mistakes at work sends stress levels up.
Post Body

Whenever I make a mistake at work (as I did yesterday/this morning), especially when it involves a client, I become very depressed and stressed. I even want to quit. Then for quite a long time, I'm haunted by it to where it clouds out other things.

Really, though, my job is becoming too stressful. I have been at it for 20 years. Last summer and then again this past Monday, I was "semi-promoted" - not doing too much different but the company is making an investment of trust (and more money) in me. I didn't ask for these promotions and have been wanting to leave. This just digs me in deeper and brings on too many expectations that I can't handle.
