Hello, everyone!

Going forward, Reddit will be removing the Live Chat Posts and focusing on a new way to chat - Chat Channels. Similarly to another popular platform \coughdscrdcough*,* channels can be created where subreddit members can chat, reply in threads and react to messages. Read more about the feature.

Currently, we have a "General" channel (for general chatting) and a "Live Chat" channel only to be used for discussing live streams (a substitute for the Live Episode Discussion posts).

🚨 Those subreddit members who usually join the SDGF2 Live Discussions, please check if the "Live Chat" channel appears and feel free to join tomorrow as there will be no Live Chat Post.

There are two ways to join the chat channels. On the mobile app open the subreddit and click on Chats. If it doesn't appear, be sure to update your app to the latest version.

On the web, open the chat panel from the top bar, then go to Discover Channels.

Website Chats

Please note that the subreddit Rules apply in the chat, as well. If there's spam, trolling, disrespectful behaviour, etc., stricter participation controls will be implemented.

If there's interest in this feature, additional channels could be added, such as "SWF Chat", "SMF Chat", "SWF2 Chat", "SDGF Chat", etc. If you have any suggestions, please share.
