I'm running with an Apple Watch Series 6 on watchOS 9.2. It seems since the most recent OS update that split notification behaviors are inconsistent. What I mean by that is, sometimes when I'm on training runs they are displayed the normal way with the split data (current split and average pace) shown directly onscreen at each mile interval. But sometimes there's only a banner displayed, even when Strava is running in the foreground, and the split data is not shown onscreen. This happened during my most recent half marathon race this past Saturday, whereby splits weren't shown onscreen after about mile 8 and I was flying blind for the last @5 miles of the race - I managed to PR by a good bit anyway so I wasn't all that frustrated at the time, but it didn't work the way it was supposed to. I haven't noticed any pattern to the erratic behavior, and it appears to happen during all types and distances of runs. I've checked the app and watch settings, and not seeing anything that clearly needs updating. Anyone experienced the same? I'm about over the Apple Watch experience for running period.
