Maybe I'm misremebering here, but Hop finds a bug in his place and removes it. Meanwhile, right after that there was a shot of Brenner and some of the people that were listening and they overheard the scene when Will is shouting to his mom saying the monster is coming. Brenner says she was there. Isn't this implying that they bugged her house (conveniently around the time they first came to it when no one was home.) Also, when Hop checks for bugs, he doesn't find one. If that's the case, wouldn't they have known a lot based on conversation that happened in that house? They wouldn't have needed to question Hop later. I guess it could be implying that the bug was in Will's basement or they were picking up a frequency. I was under the impression that 11 was channeling to just that one device.

Thoughts? What am I missing?
