I asked him if the Duffer brothers said anything about Dmitri being in season 5, and he said that initially his character was supposed to die at the end of season 4, but the Duffers had a change of plans and didn't kill him off. He only had a contract for one season, and they haven't called him to go back for season 5. So it's up in the air at the moment if he'll be back for the last season.
