I have watched Stranger Things so many times, and I always seem to find something new each time, something I’ve not noticed before. This time it was Will’s visual aid, Alan Turing. For those who may not know he was a hero in WW2 for cracking the Enigma Code but later in life was prosecuted for homosexual acts. He accepted hormone treatment as his punishment, a drug that was known as chemical castration. This true hero HUGELY helped win the war killed himself at the age of 41. They don’t even show the board properly, just Will carrying it, but it’s touches like that which make it so amazingly wonderful.
