Is ‘dildo punching’ safe?

Ik this sounds weird but I tried it in the past with someone and I kinda liked it. That being said idk if it’s safe to do?
Like is it safe for someone to punch or hit the dildo and cause some pain (obviously) but nothing that lasted past the session.
