A little while back, I had an idea for a story that would kind of be like the movie Kingsman and took elements from the real U.S Secret Service. The story would take place after George Washington, commander of the continental army and the first U.S president, had been elected to take office. After an assassination attempt on his life, Washington decides to form a small and secret agency, tasked with watching his back at all times. He enlists the help of a few skilled members who previously fought in the revolutionary war, all who had a specific skill that made them special. This is where those Kingsman elements come into play. For maybe the first member, his special skill was being an excellent sharpshooter, killing more British soldiers than anyone else. The second being more of an acrobatic skilled member, having a special knack for climbing and using his own athletic strength. Finally, a third member whose skills lay within his smarts, who used tactics during the war to outsmart the British, getting an edge over them during every battle. With the help of a couple more qualified members, Washington puts this group together, forming what would be the base for the first Secret Service.
It’s a story that I haven’t focused much on since I’ve been working on another story, but it’s one that I really like and perhaps after finishing my current story, I’ll get back to this one.
