Having a comprehension issue I think

So for the invested souls, the way Zahel explains it, is the person dies, and the power left behind basicly creates an approximation. So essentially a clone. He then states the fuzed are created that way, except they seem to have a continuous memory of life, death and reawakening that I don’t think they would have with how Zahel explains it. In theory if that were the case they wouldn’t have any knowledge of the actual souls time on braize right? Or am I misunderstanding the explanation?
