Slightly different storylines in newer editions?
Post Body

I first read stormlight archive in 2016 and I'm currently re-reading them. I've been starting to notice that the stories seem to unfold a bit differently than I remember the first time I read them. I have newer books so I'm wondering if anyone else noticed this too. Basically in the newer editions the spren and shadesmar are more bluntly explained as opposed to (what I remember) the reader having to piece together much more of the information themselves. Also in WOR I remember the knights radiant being refounded at urithiru and not under Amaram on the shattered Plains. The first time Kaladin saw Amaram the last time I read it Kal punched him in the face. This didn't happen this way in the new copy. I also noticed that in the earlier versions Lift's character was spelled "Lyft" with a y. Am I going crazy here? If not I really liked the stories better the first time around but they're still my favorite ever. Help! But honestly I'm probably just not remembering correctly.

Tldr: the stories seem different in the books I bought and read in 2019 vs the books I bought and read in 2016. Am I just crazy? Has anyone else noticed this?
