So Iām starting to think Honor died on the day of The Recreance. We know that chronologically the vision of that day was the last. We know that Dalinar is the only one to have bonded SF with the shard of honor imbedded in him.
We know Honor left a message about The Recreance at the end of the vision for a future bondsmith.
What does this all mean? Iām not 100 percent, but I believe all the abandoning of those oaths most likely manipulated by odium is what actually killed Honor.
Essentially that last message from Honor was recorded as he was dying.
