Another day, another storming mental breakdown about Kaladin...

Post Body

I was recently reading the part of RoW where Kaladin gets removed from active duty by Dalinar and it made me rather upset. I know a lot of people get emotional about his fourth ideal, but I don't usually see anyone mention that this part was upsetting to them. It hurts even more knowing that he's not going to return. When I initially read the book, I was for some reason convinced that his retirement would be temporary. Now, knowing that he's not going to fight with Bridge Four again breaks my heart. Does anyone else feel sad about this aspect of Kaladin's story?
