I’ve been sober from stims for the last 2 years, and I just realized.
When I decided to quit taking stimulants I thought I would never be able to live a normal life again. Now, two years after my last dose, I am not only living a normal life: I am even happy.
After that first thought that said “you won’t be able to do it”, suddenly another thought appeared that said “yes, yes you can. And even if you can’t, you should at least try”. I have held on to that last thought, and it has worked. EVERY DAY you must try, EVERY DAY you must keep going.
Discipline is difficult to develop, but once you manage to discipline yourself you realize that everything is easier than we see it.
KEEP GOING GUYS!!! IT GETS BETTER, I PROMISE!!
