Success... Finally!

I used to post every few days about how I planned to stop and why. I always felt like I needed the perfect time, or medical help or detox. I didn't trust myself. But the time finally came when I was just DONE. the drugs weren't drugging. I felt like an awful mom. It was only a few months but that was long enough for me, I'd been down this road and it always ended in prison. So I bucked up, got supplements after doing some research, stocked up on snacks and just quit. My husband did too and we had just gotten married but we're on the brink of ending things. It's only been just over 2 weeks but but when I look at a few weeks ago it feels years away! We are both starting up our own businesses (while working other jobs), our son started his new really awesome fancy school (it's tuition free), I applied for a new job that they would be dumb not to hire me for lol. Our relationship is improving. I'm so happy! Broke AF, but really happy. We went to a concert last weekend, it was so fun. We go to the pool all the time, we took our kid to the fair. I'm can't wait to see how the rest of the year unfolds.

My advice: don't wait. The time is now. You CAN be happy again!

Get supplements that support dopamine production. Take vitamin c starting day one, it'll cut down the detox time. Try to take one week off everything. You'll need it. I only needed 5 days. Don't give in, you are stronger than you think!!! If you can smoke weed, just do that or drink a few beers. It'll feel weird if you don't drink but it'll take the edge off. I am now off all substances except the occasional after work White Claw and nicotine.
