The weeks after quitting seem the hardest

Got about three weeks in and had my first "set back".

Getting sober didn´t really bother that much. Tiredness and lack of concentration were annoying, but what the actual fuck was the craving after about three weeks.

It was insane. A massive feeling of hunger nothing could ever hope to satisfy.

Of course it led to a relapse, though I tried to damage control by getting only a tiny amount of amphetamine and coke and used yesterday....

And I get it now why relapses are so fucking annoying. Not even the relapse itself, but the fact that I didn´t even get something out of it! Like great I am not tired, but there was no rush, no feeling of Euphoria, no nothing, but the feeling of "damn that was absolutly unnecessary".

It also messed up my plan to go to the doctors office, because I wanted to be at least 4 weeks sober for that to make sure that no symptoms were somehow caused by acute drug consumption.

Does anybody has an idea how to overcome these short bursts of "super cravings" or rather what worked for you?

I really didn´t expect that and it kind of caught me off guard. Any other traps to look out for?
