I just started reading people’s posts on here and it is making me feel unsure of things… I have been on 60 mg of Adderall a day for about 15 years and I can’t get up/out of bed without it… I see friends /family who are not taking speed and they have more energy than I do when I’m abusing speed.. I admire them for it and envy them a lot. I keep thinking that if I suffer through a couple months of not taking it, I will be feeling as well as they do everyday, but the posts I have read this morning scared the living shit outta me.. it’s making me reconsider quitting, especially after reading a post where this person has been off of adderrall for 8 years and still doesn’t feel joy/pleasure in things and still has that god awful feeling of major fatigue. I went to rehab for alcohol 6 years ago for a months stay, and after a month of no adderall I didn’t really feel better and needed a daily nap. I came to a realization that “if this is what ppl feel like everyday sober, or if this is what actual life feels like without drugs then I don’t want any fuckin part of it, I’ll just eat a pill… immediately when I got in my dads car I popped an adderrall. I’m rambling I’m sorry. I just want to hear some honest answers, bullshit aside, those now sober do you actually feel better? Don’t bullshit me. Thanks

I was on 60 for a couple years and at 10 months I feel about 50% better.
Expect 2 years. It’ll be hard, but most say it gets better from 12 months forward.
