The Lego Movie [2014] is so fucking brilliant, and this is why (spoilers)

Post Body

Itā€™s such a brilliant movie. When it was announced thereā€™s going to be a movie about building blocks? Ok they gotta be minifigures then. But to make it be minifigs with the little boy playing and acting it out with them is pure brilliant. And having Emmetā€™s crew at the beginning ā€œknock down anything weird and rebuild it exactly according to the instructions!ā€ mirroring the dads part was so ingenious! Emmet only wanting to do things according to the instructions at the begining. And the adventure the son is playing to stop the dads ā€œKrazy glueā€ so inventive. I love Lego but wasnā€™t keen for the movie at first, but after it came out I realised it is indeed truly the ultimate perfect expression of playing with lego on the big screen. Iā€™m so glad it got made. So good. šŸ¤©
