Anyone have a peroxide tank? We just got our tank 10 days ago. It's a 10ft apprx 1100 gallons. We are in Houston and it's in a relatively shady area. Only gets late afternoon direct sunlight. Although if the sun is out it has some sun thru out the day. We keep it covered with both a "solar" bubble wrap type cover over the water and a full all the way over the tank cover overnight. Filter runs 2 hours morning and evenings.

Every morning for the last week, when I check, I'm getting zero to very low ppm. And I'm having to add 1.5 cups or more a day of hydrogen peroxide.

The seller I bought from uses peroxide and she said she adds 1/4 a cup daily. That's it.

So I'm just curious if anyone else has any experience and if they are using more than expected. Also it might be possible her peroxide was old. I have some more as well as PH and alkalinity test strips coming as well.
