Investing as a Young Adult

Hi all, looking for some advice for getting into investments. I've always been interested in it since I was younger. I come from a family with not good wisdom at saving and investing in their future, and I wanna make sure I'm safe. I'm working on building up my savings account again after hitting a rough patch in life and switching up careers.
I'm looking for any tips, whether it's apps, ideas, whatever. I want to get more involved in this community and try to get more well versed at it.
