I sold 2 puts on WOLF for the 9.5 strike and the holder exercised a day early on one of them (the other I rolled for a credit). I have the 100 shares however I was under the impression the premium is considered "income" and the cost basis/average cost of share would be 9.5 how come it says my average cost is 9$? Is it factoring to the premium from both contracts?
