This comment is coming from someone who has been off Stims for around 4 months. Do you guys and gals just feel absolutely, soul crushingly tired after several months of indulging a couple times a week? I was working in a restaurant as a chef, staying sober off Stims until Saturday night, that night ex-S.O., and I, would cop a 3.5 and stay up until Monday. I would work a shift Monday night after napping for an hour or two Monday early am. After that first shift I would do a boof early in the morning Tuesday, usually my last stash. Basically staying hydrated and eating high caloric, high protein easy meals. I started having issues issues at work, where people were commenting and going to supervisors over my performance. Saying I was on something or just acting frantic, I never noticed any difference in my actions, just slightly more scatter brained. So long story short, I ended up in a confrontation with a coworker because my alertness alowed me to hear them making a comment about me tweaking. How the fuck did my coworkers know? Were they ex tweakers? Take one to know one right? Anyway I got sober after losing my job and right during the start of covid. It has taken me since early March, until the last few weeks in December, to feel completely rested. Did anyone else feel completely zapped for months after quitting? I always assumed as long as you drank water and smoothies, take multivitamins and eat, that a person could bounce back really fast. Anyone else's experience?
