When I was in highschool I did about every drug I could get my hands on, but I always settled on downers specifically opiates and benzos. I’d do coke occasionally with my friends and have a good time but stimulants were never something I’d really seek out and spend my money on. In the time I’ve been an adult my drug use has shifted a lot towards stimulants and more functional drugs, these drugs just make having to do stuff like going to work or taking care of the house so much more pleasurable and enjoyable. I never would have expected this when I was a kid, I remember amphetamines and most uppers making me very anxious and dysfunctional, but as an adult it’s became quite the opposite for me🤷.
