Stimulant adjustment period

Post Body

I was curious if there is a stimulant adjustment period long term. I was on a large dose before switching to Concerta, and most of the adjustment symptoms adjusted after a few days, but there still is a cog in my brain after a month and a half.

Since I was on a large dose of stimulants for 5 years, how much time does my brain need to adjust fully to the lower dose?

I still have this brain fog that occurs after the medication wears off most days.

For context: I went from 200mg Concerta (conversion ratio from another medication) to 54mg Concerta.
