For those of you who quit using stimulants for ADHD- how has it impacted your life?
I use the stimulants daily because I really feel that I cannot operate without them. I am addicted and my tolerance is high. In the past 2 years, I have completely kicked my marijuana habits, my sleeping pill addiction, and my nicotine addiction. I feel great. But I feel that the stimulants are the last thing holding me back.
I love feeling like myself before taking the pill in the morning, and after two hours I feel that I need the stimulant to go on with my day.
So my question is this:
Is quitting stimulants worth it? Do you feel more like yourself and are you still able to think decent enough to complete tasks?
